After many requests, I have made the very difficult decision – not to shoot weddings. It’s hard for me to write this, because I know it’s something I would really enjoy! I already work full time shooting one hour sessions, and I am hoping that with this decision I can keep my work hours a little more check and have more to offer my little boy. I will still be shooting engagement pics though, so don’t hesitate to contact me to set up a session!
These two ladies were looking to update their training/modeling portfolios, and I was happy to do the honors 🙂 They are both personal trainers and are very passionate about their work, and it shows! We had a great time getting a large variety of shots; many of which I will not post here because of their more personal nature 😉 They all turned out beautiful though! Enjoy these few …
This family is within two weeks (maybe days) of meeting their new addition! They scheduled a shoot in order to capture their family as they are now – a family of three. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child, but it’s an understatement to say it changes things! They are so wise to soak in the present moments! What a lovely family!
Below are a few early edits from Jackie’s photo shoot last week. I had a wonderful time getting to know her better, as we drove from place to place getting these shots. She is so energetic and cheerful; a joy to be around. She has so much to look forward to, as she enters her Senior year!
I love every different type of photo shoot … each person, family, and occasion presents an opportunity to capture something beautiful! I always walk away from a shoot feeling like I experienced something new and refreshing, but probably never so much as with children. They are so full of wonder and life. Newborns so completely perfect and new – and it runs through my mind every time – that we are all “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139) . Enjoy these late edits from a few recent family/children sessions.
